Exercise Finished Dog Training Center offers obedience
classes from puppy training and beginner obedience for the family pet through upper levels of competition obedience training.
Puppy Training for puppies 8-14 weeks of age
Class offered: Wednesdays 6 & 7:15 p.m.
The goal of
our puppy training class is to teach the puppy proper social skills and behavior necessary for being an enjoyable pet and
companion. We use a motivational approach to puppy training. Classes combine puppy playgroup, obedience training
and an introduction to puppy agility.
Beginner Obedience -
Level 1
Classes offered: Mondays
at 9 a.m., 6 & 7 p.m. and Thursdays at 6 p.m.
The goal of this class is to help owners gain control of their dogs through the use of basic obedience exercises
and to teach their dogs to exercise self-control.
Beginner
Obedience - Level 2
Classes offered: Mondays
at 6:00 p.m.
Pre-requisite: Completion of Puppy Training or Beginner
Obedience - Level 1
This class focuses on improving the dog's performance
of basic obedience commands and introducing dog/handler teams to Rally Obedience.
Canine Good Citizenship Preparation
Classes offered: Mondays at 7:00 p.m.
Pre-requisite: Completion
of the Beginner Obedience - Level 2 class
This class advances the skills
learned in the previous class and places more emphasis on the dog exercising self-control. The goal of this class is
to prepare the dog and handler for the AKC Canine Good Citizenship Test.
Drop-In
Open/Utility Obedience
Classes offered:
Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.
This class is designed for dogs that are working at
the novice level or already have earned their CD and are looking to prepare for the advance level obedience classes.
The class size varies due to the drop-in format and material covered will vary depending on the dogs attending class.
The drop-in format allows you to pay for only those classes you attend. Please check the announcement page to make sure
the class is not cancelled for the night you plan to attend.
